 Back in graduate school days, I was doing research on Computer Vision and Image Processing. After I left Northwestern University, I joined a startup company working on technologies for real-time multimedia distribution over mobile networks, pipes that are a little bit too thin for my taste. Currently, I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. My lab is working on embedded multimedia components (codecs, protocol stacks, etc.) and multimedia transport systems.
If you want to know more about me, I have a resume here. It seems that most Web residents have cool pages about their favorites: music, sports, hobbies, ... Hmmm, one of these days I'll have to put together a page of my favorites. For now, let me just put an empty link here as a reminder.
